This is a novel redesign of class novel, "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll.

Using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, I created a brand new look for this classic using a cover page, end papers, text block, cover wrap, and dust jacket.

I began with the text block to understand the foundation that the rest of the components with center themselves around. This began with a careful selection of fonts and a style that were embedded in the master pages. Then, I downloaded the text from Project Gutenberg and input it into my InDesign file. After adjusting the text and pages, I knew the number of pages, and thus the spine width which affected the spine width for all of the cover components.

Later, I created the different elements on the covers using Illustrator and brought everything together using InDesign. The dimensions were based on my book's dimensions (8" x 5"), the spine width, and the standard bleed (0.125").
