Each student was randomly provided with an adjective as the basis for their comic book name, and thus, their design. Based on personal experiences, I landed on Salty Susan, a (dramatic/amplified/frightening) rendition of my own childhood.

Through using sketches, which were later paired with the vector art design allowed by Adobe Illustrator, I was able to effectively use strategically placed strokes, fills, and effects to embody the artistic vision I had mapped out. This is all original work, other than the ISBN Barcode which was set as a place holder.
